Terms of Service
Service. Vervly, operated by Aniket Bhattacharjee (the "operator"), measures a text you supply against published statistics of human writing and offers rewrites of it. You keep all rights to your text and to the rewrites.
Accounts and credits. You sign in with an email address. Credits are consumed per request as shown before you run it and are refunded when a request is refused by the service. Credits are not refundable for cash except where the law requires it, and do not expire.
No guarantee of any detector's verdict. The service reports the verdict of the detectors it runs, including a local estimate of GPTZero and, if you supply your own key, GPTZero itself. We do not promise that any third-party tool will classify a rewrite as human, and we measure and publish our own pass rates rather than claim a percentage.
Acceptable use. You must have the right to submit the text. You are responsible for how you use the output, including compliance with the rules of any institution or publication you submit it to. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, automated scraping, or attempts to circumvent limits.
Third parties. If you provide a GPTZero API key, your text is sent to GPTZero under their terms and at your cost. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Availability. The service is provided as is. Rewrites are time-limited and may return your text unchanged when no candidate passes our checks; that is reported, not hidden.
Changes. We may change these terms with notice on the site. Continued use after the change is acceptance.
